Annie Welch

Annie Welch, author of Elements of the Stone (Featured in the 2023 winter anthology ‘Frost’) is a passionate reader and writer residing in the picturesque county of Warwickshire, UK.

Annie’s passion for literature started very early in her life, she’d spend many hours in the library reading and writing and go on to be published in multiple poetry and short story collections through school programmes.

​

When she’s not immersed in books, or weaving worlds within pages, Annie runs her own bookish candle business- weaving worlds within wax and bringing well known and adored atmospheres from literature to life through fragrance.

​

In her free time, you’ll find her documenting her slow and creative lifestyle though the lens of her camera, travelling to historic sites and breath-taking landscapes throughout the UK, or snuggling at home with her cat.

Annie’s love of literature and all things cosy or whimsical shines though in her work and daily life.
